Embodied Violin

Embodied Violin is performance experiment of using the musical instrument beyond traditional playing format in both sound and movementand challenging musician becoming the dancer, while the violin is transforming from musical instrument to a partner body on stage.

Performance is mirroring not only the musician-instrument relationship or the function of musical instrument in our lives, but also relationships to our own bodies or even dialogues with any other body and role changing on the way to reach closeness, respect and understanding.

This performance is sustainable and it was partly developed in natural environment to rediscover the performing possibilities beyond the use of any tech.

Developed and premiered 2025 in Berlin.
